First concept to network planning and design 

for networking of company

We had know that doing task as network engineering is easy when We were understand about basic of networking and normally an administrator had basic skill of networking such as IP Address concept, how to route in the network, configure the security firewall, network plan, operating system that implement to Server, etc. and also and administrator network should be strongly to face and secure his network that most of threat come outside the network.

 
Most important to notice that I have mentioned about network plan and design does not about "a network planning methodology" concept. But concept to implementing when an company have IT asset sourcing. First step that I'm going to share is how to make network plan and design for company where we worked.

1. Specify location in each room who need of network.
2. Specify PC Server location who include support hardware networking such as Modem, Switch, AC, UPS, PC router, Mikrotik or Cisco (optional), printer server, cable network, RJ45, cable tester, and toolkit of networking.
3. Specify operating system for server.
4. Specify PC client and operating system.
5. Electric/Power
6. The company will be used WAN technology ?
7. Using WIFI connection or cable or both.
8. Specify application server that install to PC Server.
9. Specify topology design.
10. Purpose business planning, long term, medium term or short term network planning.
11. Helper administrator to do.

The basic rules above does most important for administrator networking when to do network plan and design. Without rules component of network plan, an administrator network going to work without maps. When he faced trouble in the network, He need more time to start from where to diagnose the problem come. for sample, I will share as soon.
